Wives - What Your Husband Wants You To Know About Sex

About a month ago we posted a blog entitled "Husbands - What Your Wife Wants You To Know About Sex." You probably thought we forgot about the other half of the conversation, but we'll just say that we were letting it sink in!

Essentially, what we posted was a "Top 10 List" that the women in our Marriage Accountability Group agreed on. Now, we want to share with you the list that the men came up with. By the way, we are going to include some "anonymous" quotes from some of the men in the group (just because they are hilarious).

1. More, more, and more! To be more specific, a realistic expectation is 4-5 times a week.
"Every other day would bring a smile to my face."
2. We want you to initiate it more. Why? Because it doesn't just feel like an "act," but something that you really want.
"I want to feel like she desires me...like I still 'got it.'"
3. We would love for you to be creative.
"I just want it to sometimes be between the routine and swinging from the chandelier."
4. We enjoy talking about sex with you, on several levels. We want you to give us some direction as to what you want, and we also like for you to tell us your expectations.
"To be honest, if it has to do with sex, let's just talk about everything."
5. We like to know that "tonight's the night." Tell us, text us, leave us a note, or do something creative like lighting a certain candle or lamp.
6. If you initiate with #5, FOLLOW THROUGH! One of the worst things that can happen is for us to believe that sex is going to happen, and then it doesn't happen.
7. If it's just not going to happen tonight, just let us know.
"Is this just cuddle time, or cuddle with a chance?"
8. We really want to pleasure you, and we want to know that we have pleasured you.
9. Tell us what you want, and show us what you want.
"Are we setting a record tonight, or getting it done quickly so you can go to sleep?"
10. We actually consider sex to be very intimate, and we want to slow it down. Are you shocked?
